René Boivin Enamel, Peridot, Ruby and Diamond ‘Carlin’ Brooch, circa 1954

The cream enamelled pug seated on a pillow pavé-set with circular-cut peridots, the collar accented by calibre-cut rubies and circular-cut diamond, can be attached to a wooden plaque and worn as a pendant, mounted in 18k yellow gold. Unsigned, with French maker’s assay marks for 18k gold and maker’s marks for Robert Davière. Dimensions: approx. 62 x 38 mm. Accompanied by a copy of Francoise Cailles Letter of Expertise, dated 11 October 2018, stating that the jewel was created circa 1954 after a drawing by Juliette Moutard by René Boivin.
