Cartier Ruby, Emerald and Diamond Bird Brooch in 18K Yellow Gold and Platinum, circa 1950

Designed as a stylized peacock, set with circular-cut diamonds, embellished with pear-shaped and circular-cut rubies and emeralds, mounted in 18k yellow and white gold. Signed Cartier Paris, with French assay mark for 18k gold and maker's mark, numbered. Dimensions: approx. 64 x 45 mm.
